what I photograph

My very first photo shoot was of a baby . . . which is still my favorite subject.  They make the funniest faces!  Of course, I have mastered many other subjects over the past eleven years . . . families, engagement shots, headshots, bridal portraits, small weddings, holiday cards, maternity/newborns, children's parties, pets, bar/bat mitzvahs, cinquineras . . . I've even begun to add color photography when I do events.  Yikes!

In the neighborhood just behind Zilker Park is a quaint little house with a mom, two kids and two dogs who all pitch in to run a photography business out of their converted garage. 

Now, the driveway isn't usually swept and the phone calls aren't returned promptly enough . . . but the photo sessions are always remarkable. 

The bulk of my business is repeat and referral.  Parents tell me the kids actually ask to come back.  I have some junior high clients who I have photographed since they were babies.  In this way, I have made lots of friends and become very connected to Austin as a community.
